ArRahmah commenced its online operations in 2007 in New Jersey, USA, offering weekly Tarjuma, Tafseer, and Tajweed classes. Originally tailored to women in the local area and neighboring states, the platform has since expanded globally, guided by blessings from above. All endeavors undertaken at ArRahmah are dedicated to pleasing Allah SWT, with all staff - teachers, administrators, and assistants - striving in the path of Allah. Classes are provided entirely free of charge, only requiring your time, dedication, and prayers.

Teacher's Profile
Najiha Hashmi, the visionary behind Arrahma Institute, is a dedicated educator known for sharing her profound understanding of the Noble Quran. Her Quranic journey began in 1987 under the mentorship of Sister Kulsoom in Lahore and was further enriched by Dr. Anas Nazar, a distinguished Professor of Quranic Tafseer at the Islamic Institute in Lahore. Najiha Hashmi's pursuit of Quranic knowledge led her to Dr. Farhat Hashmi, where she obtained a diploma in Quranic Tafseer from AlHuda. Alongside her religious studies, she excelled in earning a Master's degree in Computer Sciences from Lahore. Endowed with knowledge through divine mercy alone, she chose to dedicate herself to the noblest of vocations;

Vision:
While the Quran was revealed in Arabic for all humanity, Najiha Hashmi aspires to make this divine message accessible to everyone. Established in 1998, Arrahma Institute embodies her dream of bringing people closer to Allah without regard for age, education, or background. Thousands currently benefit from her straightforward teaching style that simplifies mastering a foreign language. She adeptly explains Arabic in a manner that is comprehensive yet simple. Her eloquent exposition inspires listeners to hasten towards Allah and seek His approval. Beyond acquiring language skills, students gain valuable life lessons and spiritual growth under her guidance. Najiha Hashmi's quest for knowledge remains undiminished as she continues to deepen her understanding of the Quran, Hadith, and Seerah to share this wisdom freely with others in pursuit of the ultimate joy - Allah's approval and Jannah!
